Solar & Battery Systems

Keep the power on.

Learn to design, install, and repair solar power and battery systems. You wire real panels, inverters, and battery banks that keep homes and businesses running when the grid does not.

What you can do when you finish

You leave able to size a system, install it safely, and fix it when it fails. Homes stay lit, shops keep working, and you are the person who makes that happen.

The program

A step-by-step path to master level

About 12 to 18 months full time for master level. The core is about 6 to 9 months.

What you learn

The whole skill, part by part.

Foundations
Work safely with electricity, use tools and meters, and read a wiring diagram. This is your first job-ready skill.
Electrical core
DC and AC circuits, wiring, protection, and earthing. The base every solar and battery job stands on.
Solar
Size a system for a real load, mount and wire panels, and set up charge controllers for off-grid and grid-tie.
Batteries
Lead-acid and lithium banks, battery management, safe charging, and getting the most life from a pack.
Inverters and systems
Install and commission inverters and hybrid systems, then prove the whole system works end to end.
Faults and service
Find the fault fast, repair it, and keep systems running with planned maintenance and upgrades.
The business
Survey a site, quote a job, and run your own solar shop. This is the Create step.
What you earn
  • The Skill Center Solar & Battery Master certificate. Your skills, signed off task by task.
  • Aligned to recognized solar PV install standards (NABCEP-style). Testing access in the region to be confirmed.
  • Local electrical wiring and safety alignment to be confirmed.
How it is taught
  • You learn by doing, with real tools on real jobs.
  • A task is done when you can do it right, safely, and on your own.
  • You work on real jobs early, under a master, well before you finish.
  • Your teachers are masters and Skill Missionaries who have done the work.
