What you can do when you finish
You leave able to take a drawing, a sketch, or a broken part and make a piece that is accurate, strong, and safe. Cut true, welded to code, finished to last.
The program
A step-by-step path to master level
About 18 to 24 months full time for master level. A certified welder plus basic fabrication exit is about 9 to 12 months.

Safety, how metals behave, precise measuring and layout, reading drawings, and shop math.
Cutting and forming
Cutting, grinding, bending, rolling, and shaping sheet metal.
Welding core
Gas, stick, MIG, and TIG welding on steel, in every position.
Metals and positions
Stainless and aluminum, harder positions, pipe and tube, and getting ready for certification tests.
Fabrication
Build real things from drawings: frames, gates, structures, sheet metal, and repairs.
Advanced and digital
Forging, machining, CNC and CAD, finishing, and quality checks.
The business
Quoting jobs and running your own fab shop. This is the Create step.
What you earn
- The Skill Center Fabrication Master certificate. Your skills, signed off task by task.
- AWS aligned. Welding is taught to AWS standards, and you prepare for the AWS Certified Welder test. Test access in the region to be confirmed.
- Entry-level welder benchmarks along the way. Local credential alignment to be confirmed.
How it is taught
